  1. In Oder to absorb better the vitamin D3 you have to combine it with vitamin K2 that’s the best way to get the level you need.
Don’t forget to make the test
25 (OH) hydroxid Level Vitamin D
Before you star to take both vitamin D 3 and K2 and then three month later.

  2. mate what should be the ideal ratio between k2 and d3 and how long I have to keep taking both as a mixture .

  3. +labib8aug hi 100mg of k2 should be fine for 5000iu of d3 and this should be  used in combination all the time to aviod calcification of the arteries

  4. My Dr. Just placed me on vit de 1.25 mg 50,000 units is there a deference, in in d2  and d3?

  5. WOW! 60-80 is the optimum zone.I had mine done and it was 38.9

Long ways to go for me.

  6. Yes, you also need magnesium and k2. please do a research on calcium magnesium ratio.

  7. +Ron Friedline Did you start and has it gone well? I’m from Miami, Florida but moved to Oklahoma to attend University and developed asthma 2 years ago there.

  8. My level is 29…. and my doctor told me to take 1400 IU per day for month…. I got my gallbladder removed 4 years ago and I had issues before that with a low level of vitamin D… Should I get a second opinion from another doctor…?? I get colds and sinus infections all the time – and feel so tired… Migraines and feel cold all the time… 🙁

  9. You should take 5000iu D3 and 100mcg K2 during the morning. If you take it a few hours before sleeping your sleep quality will be reduced, but taking it every morning for a longer time will improve your sleep a lot.

  10. Do you need to take 1 softgel of 5000 IU / a day if I understand correctly ? some answers would be great !

  11. I just got my lab blood test back from the VA today and my vitamin D3 levels are low, 14.21. It shows that the normal range is 32 – 100. I think I’m going to start taking 5,000IU as she recommends in this video. I’m currently taking 1000IU and had that in my system the day I had the blood drawn. So, I must be low. I just don’t want to take too much as I’m very particular about how much of anything I supplement with. However, I’m gullible enough to believe that 5000IU will work for me.

  12. +armyveteran101st I was prescribed inVita d3 where I was recommended to take 50,000iU once weekly. I have done so for 6 weeks and went back to my doctor where he said to buy a vitamin d3 supplement from over the counter. I bought one the other day where each tablet contains 1,000iU (25ug) and it says to take one daily.

  13. +RAKS 8 50,000 sounds really high to me, but if your doctor prescribed such a high dosage I guess that’s OK… I’ve been taking 5,000 per day along with vitamin k2, zinc, and boron to improve absorption and make sure the calcium goes to my bones instead of my kidneys. I’d say you should follow your doctor’s guidelines, but you should still make sure he/she is measuring your blood levels.

  14. +armyveteran101st thanks. my doctor said something about the number 178 so idk what that means????? can you help me out friend?

  15. +armyveteran101st what brand do you take? I get mine from a popular shop called harrold and barrett. if the bottle says to taje one daily shouldnt i follow that or is it ok to just take more than one?

  16. 37 years old and my doctor recommend me vitamin D 2000 for every day for 3 months. can you tell me what should I can take which one is really good for me because I feel tired all the time

  17. Everyone, read this comment. This is pseudo science and no evidence points to this being a necessary dose, this woman is clearly not a real doctor and don’t listen to anything she’s telling you.

  18. There is lots of evidence on the importance and benefits of Vitamin D. Ivor Cummins has a good video titled ‘The Vitamin D debacle’

  19. So, what in your opinion is considered a “necessary” dose, and how did you come to this conclusion, Mr. Scienceperson?

  20. Calcium, no, unless you are deficient but most people get more than enough calcium in a “normal” diet. You should be taking K2 and magnesium.

  21. BEST IS 5000 UI OR 125 MICROGRAM A DAY…DONT TAKE HIGHER THAN 10000UI OR 250 MICROGRAM A DAY …FIGHTS CANCER AND HIGHER LIBIDO AND TESTOSTERONE ANTI DEPRESSION OVER 1000 BENEFITS FEEL GOOD OVERALL

  22. CTM Podcast You know nothing about this subject, just another person who quacks online. Vitamin d in certain doses can heal your health, even fixing diseases. Evidence of this is online in the form of clinical studies, testimonies, etc. Even doctors use vitamin d shots…Like I said, you have no clue about what you’re saying.

  23. +zubair naveed i read on books that k2is essential to absorb d3 and to transfer calcium into bones rather than to artries.thats y i asked u about k2.

  24. I was gonna comment about how attractive I find this lady but I see from the comments I’m not alone.

  25. You (want to) sound like a vitamin D specialist, but …vitamin d3 level is not expressed in ng/dl. It is expressed either in ng/ml or nmol/l. When you say 50ng/dl, then it is like 0.5ng/ml, which means the patient is already dead.

  26. I aggre but they should take vitamin K2 to go with it, vitamin D3 work in synergie with K2….
